Contrena Baltimore

Family, education, mentorship, and community service are cornerstones of Contrena Baltimore's living legacy. A Philadelphia native, Ms. Baltimore has lived in Harrisburg since 1992 and is a life-long educator. In 1998, she founded Keystone Math & Science Academy, serving as its Executive Director for over a decade. Baltimore created Mentoring for the Millenia (MM), an intergenerational program at the academy. It cultivated a safe and engaging environment, where seniors and KMSA students fostered meaningful relationships through dance, art, & music.

A successful businesswoman, Ms. Baltimore co-owns the Garden of Eden LLC (GOE), a family-owned catering service in Harrisburg. Ms. Baltimore joined The Civic Club of Harrisburg in 2014 and became its first Black president in 2022. She is a leader dedicated to diversity and community service, promoting civic engagement & civility.
